Nofence Expands in U.S. with Lower Prices and Warranty

By Jamie Martin

Nofence, the world’s first commercially available virtual fencing company, has announced price reductions and an extended five-year warranty for its U.S. customers. These changes aim to make virtual fencing more accessible to farmers while ensuring long-term durability and reliability.

Since launching in the U.S., Nofence has expanded significantly, with 45 pilot farms testing the technology and over 100 more adopting it after the 2024 commercial launch. The company’s GPS-based collars allow farmers to manage livestock grazing efficiently without physical fences, improving flexibility and animal welfare.

To support affordability, the price of a cattle collar has dropped to $289, while sheep and goat collars now cost $199. This initiative aligns with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) efforts to assist farmers in adopting virtual fencing through financial incentives.

The improved five-year warranty reflects Nofence’s confidence in its product, following enhancements that increased reliability. With a 99.3% containment rate and extended battery life, the system provides farmers with a dependable solution for managing livestock grazing.

By actively listening to farmers, Nofence continues to refine its technology to meet industry needs. With increased affordability, extended durability, and continued innovation, more U.S. farmers can now adopt this sustainable solution.

Farmers can explore Nofence’s virtual fencing system at CattleCon 2025 in San Antonio, Texas, from February 4-6 at Booth #3009.
