New Holland has strengthened its compact utility tractor offerings with the introduction of three new WORKMASTER™ models. The new WORKMASTER™ 45C, 50C, and 55C combine power, versatility, operator comfort, and connectivity features to meet the growing demands of modern agricultural and rural operations.
Compact utility tractors continue to play an important role across North America. Farmers, hay producers, livestock operators, rural property owners, municipalities, and landscape contractors rely on these machines for a wide variety of daily tasks. The latest WORKMASTER™ models were developed to help customers accomplish more work with a single machine.
The three tractors provide a range of power options. The WORKMASTER™ 45C delivers 47 horsepower, the 50C offers 52 horsepower, and the 55C delivers 57 horsepower. Powered by turbocharged three-cylinder engines, the tractors generate up to 49 PTO horsepower while maintaining efficient performance for demanding applications.
"Compact tractor customers are asking more from a single machine than ever before. The WORKMASTER 45C, 50C and 55C were designed for customers who need more power, more lift capacity and more versatility without stepping into a traditional utility tractor," said Cory Hunt, compact tractor product specialist for New Holland North America.
He added, "We call this range of WORKMASTERs ‘compact utility’ because they give owners the power and confidence to take on bigger jobs, while not losing sight of the size or simplicity of the tractors."
Strong lifting capabilities further improve versatility. Each tractor offers a rear hitch lift capacity of 2,320 pounds, allowing operators to work with numerous implements and attachments. This flexibility helps make the tractors suitable for mowing, feeding livestock, handling materials, excavation work, and general property maintenance.
New Holland designed the tractors with operator comfort in mind. The updated operator station features a spacious platform, improved safety grab rails, suspended pedals, a redesigned instrument panel, and comfortable seating. These improvements are intended to make long workdays easier and more productive.
For operators who perform frequent loader work, the optional servo-assisted hydrostatic transmission provides a smoother driving experience by reducing pedal effort. Customers can select either a synchronized gear transmission or a hydrostatic transmission depending on their preferences and operational needs.
Attachment integration is another major advantage of the new lineup. The tractors work with newly developed LC Series loaders that provide efficient performance for material handling tasks. Simultaneous lift-and-curl functionality allows operators to work more efficiently and improve productivity.
The available 270LC loader can lift to 1,697 pounds and reach a maximum height of 110 inches. These specifications make it well suited for loading, lifting, and transporting materials around farms and rural properties.
The lineup also supports the new 380BC backhoe attachment. With multiple bucket sizes, an available mechanical thumb, and an eight-foot digging capability, the backhoe expands the tractor's usefulness for construction, landscaping, and excavation projects.
Hydraulic system enhancements help operators get more from their machines. Dual hydraulic pumps provide reliable flow for attachments while maintaining responsive power steering. Optional hydraulic packages allow customers to customize their tractors for specific applications.
Technology has become increasingly important in modern equipment, and the new WORKMASTER™ models are prepared for that future. All three tractors are connectivity-ready from the factory. By adding an optional modem and connecting to the FieldOps platform, operators can access machine monitoring, maintenance notifications, geofencing tools, alerts, and operating history information.
These digital capabilities help improve equipment management while supporting preventive maintenance and operational efficiency. Farmers and property owners can gain better visibility into machine performance and daily usage.
The new compact utility tractors demonstrate the industry's focus on delivering more capability in practical, easy-to-use machines. Increased power, improved comfort, advanced attachments, and connectivity features give operators the flexibility needed for today's diverse workloads.
Available for order now through New Holland dealers, the WORKMASTER™ 45C, 50C, and 55C are expected to begin arriving to customers in late 2026. The new models represent the company's continued investment in the growing compact utility tractor market and its commitment to providing solutions that meet evolving customer needs.
