Iowa Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the launch of the Young Farmer Ag Insights Tour, an exclusive program catering to young farmers aged 18-35. The two-day event will provide participants with a unique opportunity to visit some of Iowa's most renowned agricultural sites and gain invaluable insights into the industry.
The tour will commence at the Iowa Farm Bureau headquarters located in West Des Moines and proceed to the Sunset Hills Bison Ranch, Cedar Ridge Distillery, and Dan & Debbie's Creamery. Attendees will also get the chance to experience the rich cultural heritage of Dubuque by spending the night at the historic Hotel Julien. The itinerary includes a visit to the Mississippi River Lock and Dam No. 11 and Big River Resources ethanol plant.
Only 50 participants will be permitted to join, and interested young farmers are encouraged to register soon. The tour cost is $110 per household for Iowa Farm Bureau members, including their spouse or significant other, and $160 for non-members. The fee covers all meals and overnight stay.
