The Iowa City Farmers Market is back for its 51st season this weekend, offering an array of locally grown produce, homemade sweets, and more. The market, located at the Chauncey Swan Park in downtown Iowa City, will be held weekly through October 28.
Over 100 vendors are expected to participate this year, according to recreation program supervisor Michelle Wiegand. While most vendors will be selling fresh produce, visitors can also find handmade crafts, jewelry, and baked goods.
In addition to the vendors, the market will feature live music and entertainment, making it a fun-filled event for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy breakfast at the park, grab some fresh produce for the week, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the market.
The Iowa City Farmers Market has been a popular weekend destination for over five decades and continues to attract visitors from all over the state. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience the local charm and flavors of Iowa at the Iowa City Farmers Market.
