Iowa Corn has announced the results of the 2023 Board of Directors elections for the Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) and Iowa Corn Promotion Board (ICPB).
The ICGA Board of Directors is responsible for setting policy and representing the interests of Iowa corn farmers. The ICPB Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the use of checkoff funds to promote Iowa corn.
The following individuals were elected to the ICGA Board of Directors:
• Chad Harms* (District 1),
• Aarika Schwarck (District 2),
• Mark Mueller* (District 3),
• Laura Foell (District 4),
• Chad Thompson (District 5),
• Mikayla Colehour (District 6), • Jeff Thomsen (District 7),
• Justin Deuel (District 8),
• Dan Keitzer* (District 9).
The following individuals were elected to the ICPB Board of Directors:
• Jason Orr (District 1), • Aarika Schwarck (District 2),
• Mark Mueller* (District 3),
• Laura Foell (District 4),
• Chad Thompson (District 5),
• Mikayla Colehour (District 6),
• Jeff Thomsen (District 7),
• Justin Deuel (District 8),
• Dan Keitzer* (District 9).
These newly elected directors will assume their roles on September 1, 2023. Iowa Corn is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of Iowa corn farmers. The organization works to promote the production, marketing, and use of Iowa corn. The election of new directors is an important part of the democratic process at Iowa Corn, ensuring that the voices of corn farmers are heard and represented in the organization's decision-making processes.
