Annie’s Project will again offer its well-known farm business management program in early 2026. This multi-session educational series is designed to help women in agriculture strengthen their confidence, knowledge, and decision-making skills in farm management. The program will run from February 3 to March 10, 2026, with sessions held each Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
The program will take place across four Iowa county extension offices. Sessions on February 3 and March 10 will be held at the Poweshiek County Extension office in Grinnell. The February 10 session will take place at the Jasper County Extension office in Newton.
The February 17 session will be hosted at the Mahaska County Extension office in Oskaloosa. The February 24 and March 3 sessions will be held at the Marion County Extension office in Knoxville. This multi-location structure allows participants from nearby areas to join a session close to home.
Annie’s Project focuses on risk management, financial planning, communication, and practical skills needed for today’s farm operations. Led by instructor Patrick Hatting, the program provides a supportive environment where participants can ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Each session is structured to help women better understand business records, budgets, cost management, and long-term planning.
The program encourages early registration to secure a seat and to ensure smooth coordination across counties. Participants may register for all six sessions to benefit fully from the full curriculum.
The series allows individuals to connect with peers, learn valuable management tools, and gain confidence in farm business decisions.
Anyone interested is encouraged to contact the program instructor or the listed county extension offices for more details. This opportunity is open to women of all experience levels who want to improve their understanding of farm operations and business planning.
With multiple dates and locations, Annie’s Project continues its mission to empower women in agriculture and strengthen farm families through education and shared experiences.
