On June 28, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will travel to Iowa, where he will visit a local, family-owned creamery in Ely.
There, he will announce funding for a new program created under President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that will boost economic growth, lower carbon footprints, and increase the use of renewable agricultural materials by spurring the development of innovative biobased products.
The investment is part of the Biden-Harris Administration's ongoing work to rebuild our infrastructure and create good-paying jobs and economic opportunity in rural communities.
The visit is set to begin at 12:30 p.m.
