State Soybean Stocks Up 22 Percent from Last Year



Iowa corn stored in all positions in Iowa on September 1, 2022, totaled 255 million bushels, up 1 percent from September 1, 2021, according to the latest USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service -- Grain Stocks report. Of the total stocks, 37 percent were stored on-farm. The June-August 2022 indicated disappearance totaled 557 million bushels, 2 percent below the 568 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.

Iowa soybeans stored in all positions in Iowa on September 1, 2022, totaled 51.5 million bushels, up 22 percent from September 1, 2021. Of the tota l stocks, 21 percent were stored on-farm. Indicated disappearance for June-August 2022 was 156 million bushels, 65 percent above the 94.4 million bushels from the same quarter the previous year.
