Retail diesel prices in Iowa were up 38 cents this week with a statewide average of $5.05.
The price of global crude oil fell this week on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) by $.63 per barrel over last week, currently priced at $87.47.
Brent crude oil fell $1.13 and currently priced at $92.58.
One year ago, WTI crude sold for $80.64 and Brent crude was at $83.53.
As of Wednesday, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.71 across Iowa according to AAA. Prices rose 2 cents from last week's price and $.64 higher than one year ago. The national average on Wednesday was $3.92 up 9 cents from last week's price.

Wholesale ethanol held steady and is currently priced at $2.16.
The current Des Moines Terminal/Rack Prices are $2.57 for U87-E10, $3.09 for Unleaded 87 (clear), $4.10 for ULSD#2, $4.41 for ULSD#1, and $2.69 per gallon for E-70 prices.
Natural gas prices fell $.35 at the Henry Hub reporting site and are currently priced at $6.58/MMbtu.
