Honoring Iowa's Century and Heritage Farms

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship is now accepting applications for the Century and Heritage Farm Program. This program honors families who have owned their farms for 100 years or more (Century Farm) or 150 years or more (Heritage Farm).

Key Dates:

Application deadline: June 1, 2024 (postmarked or received)

Recognition ceremony: August 15, 2024, at the Iowa State Fair

Why Apply?

Century and Heritage Farms represent the deep roots and rich history of Iowa agriculture. Receiving this recognition is a prestigious honor and a chance to celebrate your family's legacy.
