The 2025 Iowa Specialty Producers Conference is set for February 11-12 at the FFA Enrichment Center in Ankeny, Iowa. The conference will cover a range of topics, including viticulture, enology, fruits, vegetables, specialty crops, and business and marketing strategies.
Event Highlights
Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will deliver the opening welcome on Tuesday. The event offers a comprehensive schedule featuring educational sessions, networking opportunities, and expert insights into specialty crop production. Registration Details
Conference registration is open online. Non-members can register for $220 for both days or $150 for a single day. Members of the Iowa Specialty Crop Growers Association and the Iowa Wine Growers Association receive discounted rates.
A special feature of the event is the Iowa Wine Awards Social, held on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. in the FFA Enrichment Center ballroom. Tickets for the social are $40.
Organizers and Funding
The conference is organized by the Iowa Specialty Crop Growers Association, Iowa Wine Growers Association, and Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, with support from Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service through a specialty crop grant.
