‘Agriculture Every Day’ is a unique educational event designed especially for young learners who are curious about farming, nature, and the world around them.
Scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2026, the program will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White Fair Building, located at 1809 N 4th St., Red Oak, Iowa. This event provides an engaging space for children to explore agriculture in a fun and age‑appropriate way.
The event is part of Clover Kids, a special 4‑H program created for children in kindergarten through third grade. Clover Kids focuses on learning through play, creativity, and hands‑on activities.
It introduces children to important life skills such as teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication while allowing them to discover new interests. Agriculture Every Day builds on this mission by helping children learn about farming, food, animals, plants, and the environment in an enjoyable and safe setting.
Throughout the morning, participants will take part in simple educational activities designed to teach the basics of agriculture. Children may explore topics such as how crops grow, why farms are important, and how food reaches local communities.
The program also encourages curiosity by allowing children to ask questions, observe real examples, and participate in small group activities. These experiences support early learning and help young children develop confidence while discovering the role agriculture plays in everyday life.
The event aims to connect children with the agricultural community in Red Oak and surrounding areas. Activities are designed to be interactive so each child feels involved.
This type of early exposure helps children understand the value of farms, farmers, and natural resources. It also introduces them to the idea that agriculture includes science, technology, animals, plants, and problem‑solving—all in a friendly format suited for young learners.
Families are encouraged to register early to secure a spot for their children. Agriculture Every Day also provides an opportunity for families to meet other parents and learn more about local 4‑H programs. For questions or additional information, families may contact Sadie Lindgren at (712) 623‑2592.
By participating in this program, children gain memorable experiences that support learning, creativity, and a positive connection with agriculture. Agriculture Every Day offers a welcoming environment where young students can explore, grow, and enjoy the world of farming.
