Darrin Frey Joins Iowa Farm Bureau as Finance Director

Darrin Frey brings with him a wealth of experience, having dedicated 28 years to a successful career at FBL Financial Group, Inc. His journey within the company saw him rise through various accounting and auditing roles, ultimately reaching positions of great responsibility, such as Corporate Planning Manager, Director of Financial Analysis, and Corporate Treasury Director.

Throughout his career, Frey has demonstrated his financial expertise, playing a key role in long-term financial planning, streamlining reporting systems for enhanced efficiency, and ensuring compliance with changing financial regulations.

In his new role at the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Darrin Frey is enthusiastic about the opportunity to reconnect with his agricultural roots. He expresses his eagerness not only to apply his financial skills but also to forge new relationships and contribute to the organization's mission of supporting the people, progress, and pride of Iowa.

Darrin Frey's academic background includes graduation from Simpson College. He and his wife, Jill, currently reside in the northwest region of Des Moines and have two college-aged children.
