Meristem Crop Performance Joins Iowa State University for Advancing Crop Research

Meristem Crop Performance has recently partnered with the Iowa Soybean Research Center at Iowa State University, becoming an industry partner. This collaboration involves Meristem serving on the center's industry advisory council, providing valuable guidance on research needs and funding priorities.

The inclusion of Meristem Crop Performance is significant due to their focus on developing and delivering innovative crop inputs and technologies to farmers. Greg Tylka, director of the Iowa Soybean Research Center, noted that Meristem's mission to maximize farmer profitability is in line with the goals of the center.

Meristem Crop Performance's role also includes offering financial support to the center, which will be combined with soybean checkoff funds from the Iowa Soybean Association. This funding will be utilized to advance soybean research at Iowa State University.

Christie Wiebbecke, senior director of research for the Iowa Soybean Association, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the importance of Meristem's expertise in cropping system inputs to enhance soybean productivity and profitability for Iowa's soybean farmers.

The Iowa Soybean Research Center, a collaborative initiative involving Iowa State's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Iowa Soybean Association, and various industry partners, aims to promote agricultural research. Meristem Crop Performance joins other industry leaders in supporting the center's mission, including AGCO, BASF, Bayer, Syngenta, and many others.

Meristem Crop Performance specializes in sourcing, formulating, and delivering high-quality crop inputs, enabling farmers and agribusinesses to optimize their investments in infrastructure and intellectual property.
