Elevate your understanding of the corn industry and cultivate essential leadership skills by participating in the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team (CAT) program. Open to post-secondary students in Iowa colleges or universities pursuing agricultural careers, the CAT program offers a year-long journey into industry dynamics.
CAT participants will visit the Capitol, gaining insight into legislative processes shaping the industry. Tours of leading industry operations provide hands-on exposure to corn cultivation intricacies. Beyond field trips, CAT is a networking and growth platform. Interact with like-minded peers, exchanging ideas and expanding perspectives.
Apply by September 29 for this transformative experience. Students who completed high school and are enrolled in an Iowa college or university can apply. For information or referrals, contact Brian Bell at bbell@iowacorn.org. Access the application and details at www.iowacorn.org/CAT.
The 2023 – 2024 CAT program starts on November 9 and 10. Join to expand industry understanding, develop leadership, and connect with peers passionate about agriculture.
