ADC to Hold Guestworker Session at World Dairy Expo

The American Dairy Coalition will host a presentation at World Dairy Expo next month to discuss how a new guestworker visa program may provide a viable solution for dairy producers who desperately need secure and reliable labor. The
forum will take place in the Monona Room of the Alliant Energy Center on October 5, starting at 11:30 a.m.
Attendees will learn about how the Agricultural Guestworker Act, or AG Act, may help the dairy industry find reliable, year-round labor.
ADC CEO Laurie Fischer says she has been working with House Judiciary Committee Chair Bob Goodlatte from Virginia on the creation and preparation of this legislation. She will give attendees more information about the bill and collect feedback from
"Our industry has waited 20 years for meaningful immigration reform," Fischer said. "Your valuable voice is necessary to ensure this bill can provide relief to producers across the nation who do not know who will milk their cows."
